Art Bloc. is a pop-up art exhibition that showcases artists from the borough of Staten Island. Art inspires conversation. Laura Pannone (Prism Visions or “PV”), in collaboration with The Flagship Brewery, hosts the event. By partnering with a beloved local venue, Pannone inspires a powerful dialogue centered around not just art itself, but all of the love that resonates through it. To achieve this mission, Prism Vision curates local artists for each thematic exhibit to showcase their multimedia work. PV also developed a marketing campaign by designing artists’ spotlight posts to publicize each artist and support the recognition of artistic achievement throughout the community. During the event, works are displayed around the brewery including paintings, photography, prints, and illustrations. Additionally, Prism Visions has set up an installation to take live portraits of event attendees. The show strives to not only make art accessible to every individual in our urban community but also to support artists and local entrepreneurs in their endeavor to share their multidisciplinary messages with a greater audience.
